Architectural Design Approved!

Illustration of a large, dark brown wooden barn with a gray roof and two small cupolas, perfect for a rustic wedding. The structure features multiple sections and windows, with inviting double barn doors at the front.

Over the last 6 months, we’ve been working diligently with our Engineering firm and Architect to finalize the design and site plan for the barn.  Earlier today that work began paying off. This morning we received approval from the Concord Architectural Design Review Committee (ADRC) – with minimal changes to the design of the barn.  These minor changes include adding muntins to the second floor windows, replacing the half-moon window on the rear of the barn and creating a larger overhang near the entrance.  This is great news for us and brings the barn one step closer to fruition.

In 2 more weeks (February 20th) we’ll be having our first planning board review meeting, and we’re keeping our fingers crossed that we’ll receive more good news then.  Stay tuned!

Also – here are some preliminary renderings of the barn.
